The onboard hands-on display shows basic principals for all education levels through to adults along with functioning renewable power systems, including wind turbine, solar thermal and solar photovoltaic technologies. Later on the exhibit will have a working fuel-cell and other micro-renewable power systems.

Mission:

The mission of Earth Rover one is to provide an exciting and instructive way to educate, inspire and empower people to become environmentally responsible citizens.

Benefits to the Community:  Otherwise invisible in the public domain and mindset, Earth Rover One is intended to catalyze community collaboration in a venture which makes environmentally sustainable Science and Technology visible, tangible, and accessible to all ages. By demonstrating credible, large-scale and functioning systems energy efficiency and integrated micro-renewable power technologies:

•a)      Adults and children are spell-bound when they witness the technology and the need to embrace it wholeheartedly.

•b)      Enables adults and children to learn about something that is novel and enables adults to take action on issues that are of vital concern for their children, thus ensuring life-long practical learning.

•c)      Enables Oxford-based Scientists, Technologists, local authorities and experts in this field in commerce and elsewhere to join forces and directly disseminate information essential for pursuing low-carbon lifestyles. The project seeks to promotes a consistent message for raising awareness, catalyze mass installation whilst challenging and correcting urban mythologies contrary to the uptake of mitigating technologies which enable effective collective action on the challenge of climate and energy.

I make no charge for the exhibit or my time as this is my voluntary work I am presently working on ways to establish a registered charity.

I have a clear" Enhanced Disclosure" registered with the Oxfordshire Association for Young People for voluntary teaching of pupils.
