"At a 'Joining The Dots' event in Witney I met a woman who had come from another county to learn more about all the community based action against climate change going on in Oxfordshire. She had not been able to find proactive events to be part of in her area, and commented on the wealth of activity taking place across the width and bredth of Oxfordshire.

When collecting research for the poster I was suprised to discover the scope and imagination in the various projects, from those in their infancy, comprimised of a small group, to fully fledged organisations, businessess and schools.... This is where the idea for the mushrooms sprang up, representing the similar aims but different forms of all the community action groups.
I spent many an hour writing, drawing and colouring in; I hope I have included all the community action groups, and that the poster is clear and informative for everyone."
