A changing climate report

The conference 'A changing climate: business opportunity or Economic Nightmare?' took place on Weds 31st October at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratories. imeasure: A tool to measure your household's energy & carbon

This is a unique online tool giving you the ability to accurately measure and monitor your household's energy use and carbon emissions over time. It will be ready for general use in early December, Check http://www.imeasure.org.uk/ from 6th December and start using it. The business tool  'smeasure' is under development, and the beta version will be launched in the new year.

Invitation to a talk and discussion on 'Planning for Life after oil - the transition concept'  with Rob Hopkins Thurs 29th Nov, 7.15pm at the Wesley Memorial Church, New Inn Hall St, Oxford, OX1 2DH
The evening will be a chance to hear from Rob about Transition Town Totnes and the growing Transition Town and City movement in the UK. These towns and cities are all exploring how to prepare for a carbon constrained and energy-
lean world, using the collective strength, skills and insight of all sectors of the community. Totnes has gained significant media coverage for the 'Totnes Pound' - a novel way of supporting local businesses. See the BBC article.
