Window of Opportunity Competition

Curious about climate change? What's the opportunity you see now? Take part, with a young person, in this new competition organised by Oxfordshire Federation of Women's Institutes and Oxfordshire ClimateXchange

Entrants: One W.I. member plus one young person (16 years or under, a family member or friend) will be asked to discuss the ompacts and opportunities relating to climate change and together express their views visually by producing a piece of art.

Prizes

We will be offering cash prizes of £75 to winners in each category, plus runner up prizes kindly donated by  Blackwell Bookshop (vouchers), and Creation theatre (tickets), and more to be announced.

10.30 - Doors open for tea and coffee

11am - Introductory event starts

An introduction to the Science and Impacts of Climate Change, and how people are rising to the challenge across Oxfordshire.

12.30 - lunch

1.30 - Screening of 'An Inconvenient Truth' plus discussion after the film

3.30 - event ends

Location - Oxford University Centre for the Environment, Dyson Perrins Building, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QY .

10 - 15 min walk from Broad Street.

Parking: pay and display parking is available on Mansfield Road, max stay 3  hours, £3.
