Open Eco Homes Events
Whilst Oxfordshire ClimateXchange and COIN aren't organizing the popular Eco-homes open days this year, but there will be a number of eco-renovated homes open as part of the national Heritage Open Days from 9-12th August. Open Home in Oxford 11-12th September As part of 'Heritage Open Days' (www.heritageopendays.org.uk) Tina Fawcett and Richard Blundel are opening their eco-renovated home, 29 Stapleton Road, Oxford, OX3 7LX, on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September, 1 - 5pm. Features include: internal and external solid wall insulation, under-floor hemp insulation, double-glazed sash windows, solar water heating, light pipe, efficient lighting and (some) UK-sourced and reclaimed materials.
