Abingdon Carbon Cutters Meets (usually) 2nd Wednesday of the month St Ethelwold's House, 30 East Saint Helen Street, Abingdon. It's a small informal group (approx 10 who turn up - more on the mailing list), set up in November 2006 with the aim of increasing our own awareness and knowledge of globing warming and general sustainability issues. The group was originally loosely based on Weight Watchers, ie that members would be trying to gradually reduce their carbon footprint. Currently we meet monthly at St Ethelwolds House, Abingdon, bringing a shared vegetarian contribution for a simple supper and discuss how we can improve our own performance and spread the word in an appropriate way. We are a new Community Action Group exploring ways to tackle locally the challenges of:

Most of them left their details and viewed the bulb library We will invite them to our next meeting on 13 June which will follow up on the film and decide what to do next.
