Wolvercote School's solar panels

JHS Power Solutions have successfully installed a 4.212 kWp solar PV system for Wolvercote Primary school.

 

Wolvercote Primary School's solar panels were installed in December 2007.

With a bright display system installed in the IT room the children and staff are able to see how much carbon they are saving each day.

The 26 Sharp panels installed will generate about 3500 kWh (kilowatt hours) per year saving around 2000 kg of CO2 per year.  

JHS Power Solutions helped the school to secure a 50% grant towards the cost of the system from the Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 2.
