Attitudes to Inconvenient Truth at Cherwell School

Here's what students at Cherwell school in Oxford thought about An Inconvenient Truth

Hello,
This is a report for an event that happened on the 16th July at Cherwell School, Oxford. There was a showing of "An Inconvenient Truth" and questionnaires were given out on the effects the film had on the students. These are the results. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!!

After being asked to choose between two words, (after seeing the film), this is what the students produced...

   Hopeful or Fearful

Enthused or frustrated

Motivated or Unmotivated

Positive or Negative

This is a word cloud from teh answers that the students gave for the question "What (if anything) was the key scientific fact that you learned from "An Inconvenient Truth"?

Word cloud, if anything, what was the key scientific fact that you learnt from "An Iconvenient Truth"

After being asked if they would change any habits as a result of watching the film, these are the collective results of the answers...

will you change some of your habits after seeing the film?

These are some examples of what people said when asked what their feelings about climate change were before and after watching "An Inconvenient Truth"

Something teachers were teaching  >  A big problem

A big problem  >  A catastropic problem

Scary, but didn't know how to tackle it  >  WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

We can see from looking at these results that people's opinions about Climate Change dramatically changed after watching "An Inconvenient Truth".
