With ‘unseasonal' downpours causing flooding in UK, a new report urges action on impacts and adaptation in Europe. ‘Europe must start work now to protect power stations, transport systems and agriculture from flooding, droughts, forest fires and landslides likely to be caused by global warming, according to the draft of a report due out this week'.
