sell-out business conference, to new community groups getting going, the
WI Window of Opportunity Competition launch, an amazing day of art,
invited appearance at the national Interdependence Day (with 5 other
Oxford groups), us on the telly, AND an attack in the letters page of
the Oxford Times! Followed by a half-page report on the other side. All

Kidlington - over 140 people turned out for an Inconvenient Truth screening at Kidlington on 24th October. With plenty of after show discussion, and a chance to hear more about ‘Kidlington vs Climate Change'. A changing climate for business - this conference, organised with Didcot Chamber of Commerce and the Oxfordshire Town Chambers Network, was a great success, drawing together a blend of info and examples of local businesses rising to the challenge. Women's Institutes ‘Window of Opportunity'. This art competition was launched at an event at Oxford University Centre for the Environment on Sat 3rd Nov. Details about the event (and presentations to download shortly) can be found by following the link on the front of our website.
Explore and Inhabit the Climate Adventure: this creative climates day of info and artistic response on Sun 4th Nov proved a great success, with attendees (and those who couldn't attend) eager for future events. Watch this space for more info. Full details shortly available on the website.

OXFORDSHIRE ECO-HOUSE OPEN DAYS : 24-25TH NOVEMBER 2007
18 eco-houses in Oxfordshire (14 of them in Oxford city) are opening their houses to the public to share the techniques, products and possibilities of eco-renovation. This is a superb opportunity to see a wide range of approaches and talk to the house owners directly about their experiences.
