• Kidlington - Screening of An Inconvenient Truth and launch of Kidlington Environment Group on  Weds 24^th Oct
• Kirtlington - hosted an Energy meeting, here's some feedback: "the evening was excellent: the stimulating and absorbing film giving the broader picture and some very encouraging examples of viable solutions. But then it was very good to focus on the smaller-scale and really bring home to people just how much we can all do
  and how much it really matters". Next event, a screening of ‘Power of Community' Weds 14^th Nov
• Abingdon - hosted a screening of  ‘Power of Community' on 10^th Oct

Inconvenient Truth Court challenge

Mr Justice Burton said the government could still send the film to schools - if accompanied by guidance giving the other side of the argument. Climate change and globalization are forcing us to think of the world in new ways: no one can deny that we live in an interdependent world. But we will need to unlock all our energy and imagination if we are to make a world that's safe and good to live in. A day of debate, film, art, performance and workshops at the Royal Geographical Society in London seeks to do just that. This gala event is hosted by nef (the new economics foundation) and the Open University, and is part of the ‘Interdependence Day project.
