The end of an amazing year - and what a year it's been. THANK YOU to everyone who has got involved, organised events, told a friend, done a survey, volunteered, been an explorer, clicked on climatex.org, or made the next step this year. We'll be back full steam for the first two months of 2008, and will keep you posted on our plans after that.

See the AMAZING list of events that YOU have been part of here:

Bali updates

12 researchers from the ECI attended the UN Conference of Parties
(COP) summit in Bali at the beginning of December, representing the
largest cohort of ECI expertise at any of the COP negotiations. You
can see some of the topics covered here: www.eci.ox.ac.uk/bali, including Diana Liverman's blog (Director of the ECI). Another blog from Oxford-based Geoff Lye at http://www.sustainability.com/ .

Some 30-40 people went from Oxford, from EcoSecurities, Climate Care,
Oxfam, Stockholm Environment Institute Oxford, significantly raising the
international profile of Oxford as being at the forefront of the climate
change response.

Closer to home a rainy day didn't put off over 7,000 people who
marched in the annual climate march in London on Sat 8^th Dec,
 including over 100 from Oxfordshire.
