Naresh will introduce an inspiring vision and action plan for how a community can transition to an energy-lean, carbon-constrained future that is abundant, sustainable, pleasurable, and resilient. Transition Towns use Energy Descent Planning - a tool for creating a sustainable vision of the future using a process called 'backcasting' - starting from the end point and working backwards - that generates an action plan for achieving a sustainable vision in small, easily realisable steps.
