Not a climate question at all, but just wondered if anyone knows if you can put daffodils in the compost bin? I have a niggling feeling that they are supposed to be toxic!

coffee this morning, someone told me that artificial daffodils have
been planted in the Lake District to tempt Easter tourists, as the
mild winter means that many of the natural ones are long
gone. Is this what they mean by
