We are all independent county-based charities, but come together under the umbrella of the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts giving strength to our work at a regional and national level. BBOWT's vision is to create a region rich in wildlife and appreciated by all. With your help we can: • inspire people to take action for wildlife • create and manage nature reserves for wildlife • conserve and enhance wildlife in the wider countryside Climate change issues or related issues BBOWT is rising to the challenge of climate change by looking at ways to help both wildlife and people as it takes hold. At BBOWT we work hard at conserving the wildlife we have on our reserves, but we are also concerned about the wider countryside. Taking a larger landscape approach to nature conservation brings a mosaic of habitats together allowing wildlife better opportunities to move within the landscape as our climate changes. BBOWT is working on two large landscape projects in areas surrounding two of our nature reserves: Chimney Meadows in Oxfordshire and the Upper Ray Meadows in Buckinghamshire.
