An interesting approach taken by Mr. Gore et al, but certainly one showing us that one can have fun without destroying the planet. Ah, but of course, this is an issue that I feel is not raised but nearly often enough! Part of the reason that people refuse or neglect to take action is that they simply feel that it would affect them too much. The same is true of web designers refusing to switch to CSS; people feel more familiar and comfortable as they are. We need to show them that not only does caring for the Earth give us the "small" benefit of survival as a species, but can also generate more employment, more possibilities, more joy to life! Perhaps the idea doesn't appeal to everyone, but I personally would love to somehow get tickets. The fact that the whole show will be broadcasted online also goes to show that technological progress and environmentalism aren't mutually exclusive. So, opinions?
