I am a Membership Development Coordinator for The Midcounties
Co-operative. With over 200000 members we have a perfect
opportunity to reach out to many people on important issues. We are
currently setting up educational and discussion opportunities for
our members across our trading area on the area of climate change.
The first opportunity is occuring on April 25th from 7.00pm to
8.30pm at our Oxford based head office (Co-operative House, Botley
Road, Oxford, OX2 0HP). We are working with Oxford Climate Xchange
in presenting this meeting and aim to educate people about climate
change and discuss ways in which we can prevent climate exchange in
a positive way. This will be part of many opportunities in which we
will be providing discussion opportunities for our members. Our
entire trading group will be running our Defending the Environment
campaign from the end of April through to July. More information will
be provided in due course.
